Systems Analyst
Technical Skill Set: Mainframe Cobol, Strong VSAM, CICS, JCL, Batch Processing
Requirements: Experienced Systems Analyst with previous experience performing in a Mainframe project development environment. Must have demonstrated experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from the development of business and system requirements, through the creation of functional designs, through the development of test strategies and test plans, to prepraration of promote documentation. Candidate must have previous experience managing project development efforts, including development of project plans and schedules. Candidate must have previous experience in the assignment, allocation, and daily work management of staff allocated to assigned projects. Candidate must have experience in change management, demonstrating a good grasp of methodologies used to manage changes in project priority, scope, or staffing effort.
Candidate must have a strong working knowledge in software engineering practices, demonstrating experience in performing root cause analysis, and in organizing, planning, and managing the development effort to produce error free code products for delivery to the customer. Candidate must have a strong background in analysis and debugging efforts, adept at understanding reasons why coding errors were not caught prior to delivery to the customer; and able to make changes on future efforts to reduce errors over time.
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Systems Analyst experience. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of development experience for the health insurance industry, with at least two years of experience in health insurance claims. PMP certification and experience in CMMI or other structured software development methodology is highly desired.
Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
Technical Skill Set: Mainframe Cobol, Strong VSAM, JCL, Batch Processing
Requirements: Experienced QA Analyst with previous experience performing in a Mainframe project development environment. Must have demonstrated experience in providing QA for all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from the development of business and system requirements, through the creation of functional designs, through the development of test strategies and test plans, to prepraration of technical documents for promotion. Candidate must have previous experience developing test plans, test cases, and performing QA testing in a mainframe environment. Candidate should have experience in conducting effective design, code, and test reviews to trap errors prior to release of software to test. Previous experience in automated mainframe testing tools is highly desired, but not required.
Candidate must have a strong working knowledge in software engineering practices, demonstrating experience in performing root cause analysis, and reporting on the root causes of software errors found. Candidate must have previous experience in writing test summary reports at the conclusion of testing efforts.
Previous QA experience for development projects with the insurance claim process is desired, and previous QA experience for the health insurance claim process is highly desired.

Lead Position:
This position will work closely with the incumbent Customer Service Solutions leadership. Required skills include strong organizational, time management, resource management, and task management skills. This individual must also possess excellent communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to proactively as well as reactively respond to changes in the environment. This individual will function as a team lead, not as an individual contributor performing development activities. They must have the ability to effectively monitor and manage cost, scope, quality and risk. A strong technical design background is highly preferred as well as experience with RUP. The designated individual must have proven project management experience and experience using MS-Project.
Developers:
The application developers possessing the required cross section of skills are needed to support applications. Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills are required. In depth knowledge of all specialized software packages is preferred but not absolutely necessary.
Business Analysts:
The Business Analysts will need to analyze data processes, business processes and interfaces with other areas. They should also be able to develop and maintain desktop procedures, supporting training when necessary. Developing and writing requirements and effective test plans will be a major part of their activities. Additionally they must effectively test application changes to make sure they are accurate. Effective communications skills are also necessary.
All positions require expertise in the following technologies: COBOL, DB2 and online IMS with a healthcare background.
